Race for a Cure in San Diego

Today I had the opportunity of walking in the Susan G. Komen foundation "race for a cure". It was a great experience and Lord willing plan to do it again next year. There was a ceremony for survivors and we all wore pink hats and pink survivor shirts. It was great!! I was just thanking God for my life and was a little bit emotional too. There was a lady that was a 55 year survivor! It gave me a lot of hope. It was a sobering moment looking around at all the ladies that had gone through what I had gone through, wow! It was also so sad to see little boys walking "in memory of their mommy". It just breaks your heart to see that...
Best of all, it made me realize even more how greatful I am to be alive and how important early detection is. How important family and friend support is and best of all, how important it is to have an Awesome God to believe in,when faced with trials.
Thank you Yami for going with me and thank you Babe for all your unconditional love towards me. Love you tons.

Lissette, that's awesome! If I was there, I would have done it with you guys for sure. In fact, I'm a little sad that this year I completely missed the breast cancer walk in Orlando. It's the first time I've missed it in 4 years. Thanks for the pictures; they were great! Love you lots, love to all.
