Abuelita

Abuelita, a great woman of faith. She has taught me to be positive in every situation. Her energy and disposition amaze me. She loves her family with all her heart and loves her God with all her heart too.
I had been thinking of doing this because she too, has suffered so much this past year. We tend to put our emphasis on the sick person, in this case, Abuelo. I don't want to forget my dear Abuelita and all that she has done for her family. Having the honor to work with her side by side while Abuelito was at home, I was always amazed at her energy and disposition. Thank you Abuelita for giving us a great example and for your love for God and your family. I love you.

Celebrating the end of treatment!

Thank you to my friend Maylinne for making me this little doggy at the teddy bear factory. She sent it to me this week. She congratulated me on finishing the treatments. I thank God for good friends like Maylinne. Throughout the whole treatment process, she took the time to send me cards and gifts and lifted my spirits. She is a very busy mom and teacher and wife, but she took the time to make me happy. I am honored to have great friends such as Maylinne. Thank you! God bless Maylinne and her lovely family.

It is such a sad feeling to see my strong Grandpa in a bed unable to do much for himself. Nunca desmayes que en el afan, Dios cuidara de ti Abuelito. Te queremos mucho! Please Lord take care of him.

Sabbath at the Munoz Residence

We spent the day with my sister Ivette and family at their house. We had a great time sharing the afternoon with Tios Rodriguez. Wow! What a treat to have you for two weekends in a row. It was also great to see Yami back from Andrews and Danny, it was great to see you too. Time with family is priceless!

Angel Pin

I was in the waiting room today for an appointment with my surgeon and all these memories came back of when I found out that I had breast cancer and so on. I was also alone in the waiting room because my partner, my Mom, had gone home early this morning. I started crying and this lady sitting in front of me with her husband came over and asked me if I was a survivor? I said yes. She then opened her purse and gave me this little angel to take care of me. I told her that angels had taken care of me through this process. She herself was also a survivor and knew exactly what I was feeling. Thank you to this lady for helping me through that difficult moment. There are always angels around us and she was one today. God bless her!
